AMD Ryzen 7 5800H - Octacore for mobile gaming
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is the big brother of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H and, like the latter, is based on the new Zen 3 architecture with an improved 7nm manufacturing process and higher clock rates. The base clock rate is 3.2 GHz and in turbo mode it clocks at up to 4.4 GHz. Hyperthreading is also supported, enabling computing on 8 cores and 16 virtual threads. Thanks to the new architecture, the level 3 cache has been increased to 16MB.
The TDP can be configured from 35 to 54 watts and is 45 watts as standard, which is ideal for gaming laptops.
Powerful graphics card - powerful performance
The integrated graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX Vega 8. This means that everyday work, as well as Photoshop and video editing and games, if limited to slightly older titles, should not be a problem. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is usually offered in combination with a dedicated graphics card, such as in the Asus TUF Gaming A15 in combination with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. This makes it possible to play current AAA titles, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, even at higher settings, as well as demanding graphical work.
