AMD Ryzen 7 5700U - Mobile and powerful
Like its predecessor, the AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U is based on the Zen 2 architecture. It also has a hyperthreading function and therefore calculates on up to 8 cores and 16 virtual threads. This greatly improves multicore performance. In conjunction with a base clock of 1.8 GHz and a boost clock of 4.3 GHz, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U offers the perfect solution for performance-intensive tasks in compact notebooks and convertibles. With the 7nm architecture still in use and the configurable TDP of 10 to 25 watts, high battery runtimes can be achieved as before.
Equipped for all tasks
The processor is ideal for demanding office work and, thanks to the integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 8, Photoshop and video processing programs are no problem. With the integrated GPU, even less graphically demanding games can be played smoothly. In combination with a dedicated graphics card, more graphically demanding games are no problem.
The AMD Ryzen 7 5700U competes with the Intel Core i7-1185G7, which is a few performance points faster in the benchmark in single-core tests and a few performance points slower in the multi-core test. The AMD Ryzen 7 5700U is therefore better suited for multi-core tasks than the Intel Core i7-1185G7.
