NVIDIA RTX A4000 - Professional 3070
The [NVIDIA RTX A4000 is a graphics card for professional applications that was introduced in April 2021 and is the successor to the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000. It is based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and, like the latter, offers 5120 graphics cores, 40 ray tracing cores, 160 tensor cores and 8 GB GDDR6 vRAM.
In contrast to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, the NVIDIA RTX A4000 offers certified drivers that are optimized for stability and performance in professional applications such as CAD programs as well as prospecting and visualization applications.
Depending on the variant installed, the TGP is between 80 and 140 watts, so a suitable variant can be installed depending on the space available for cooling.
For graphically demanding work
As the NVIDIA RTX A4000 is based on the consumer NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, both graphics cards are comparable in terms of performance. Thanks to the optimized drivers for professional applications, the NVIDIA RTX A4000 is superior to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 for professional applications such as 3D rendering and CAD programs as well as photo and video editing.
Current games such as Cyberpunkt 2077, Hitman 3 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla can also be played smoothly in Full HD at high graphics settings.
Even if the NVIDIA RTX A4000 is slightly inferior to the slightly more powerful NVIDIA RTX A5000 in terms of performance, it is still a high-end graphics card.
The NVIDIA RTX A4000 can be found in high-end workstations.
